Guess Your Weight Scale

Guess Your Weight Scale

The Build

A vintage coin-operated guess-your-weight scale restored in the Bodie Stroud shop.

Vehicle History

This coin-operated Guess-A-Weight scale was built by C.R. Kirk & Co. of Chicago, makers of novelty penny-arcade machines from the 1930s onward. Its Model 51 challenged standers to dial in their exact weight for a free penny ride, mixing carnival showmanship with coin-op engineering.

Known for: the mirrored FREE panel promising a penny back if you guess your own weight right
