DIALED IN

We are finally getting close to finishing up the Scarliner, we made quite a few changes, like adding the ABS braking, and installing the new Porsche GT3 ceramic rotors and calipers.

Plus every polished stainless steel radiator hose you see is being hand made right here at the shop, as well as all the polished aluminum clamps. After we fabricate a stainless hose and aluminum clamp, it then gets polished and then gets a high temp clear put on them so that when it comes to detailing the car, the customer wont have to spend countless hours poishing all of those parts.

One more thing about the 1960 Ford Starliner, AKA the Scarliner, the motor is an all aluminum double over head cam supercharged 5.4 Ford GT motor, not a regular cast iron super charged 5.4 crate motor!

There is quite a difference….For instance the GT motor has no oil pan it is a dry sump motor, the pulley’s on the GT are perfectly balanced for that motor to make it run smoother and quieter, the intake goes straight out of the back of the motor, these are just a few of the differences, but the big difference is the price!!

The 55 Bel Air with the LS7 Corvette motor is finished, YAY!!!

After countless hours of dialing that thing in, John finally got to drive it home, and says he loves it! I have to say I got the pleasure of doing all af the test driving on the car, so let me tell you, that thing is a frickin rocket ship!!!

I have to also say that I am very proud of my boys, Mitchell and Clark for putting in the time in on this one, I couldnt have done it without them, thanks guys!! And one more thanks to John and Tom for letting us be a huge part of this build!

Oh yeah, and Baby Steph for holdin’ it down in the front office.
