1955 Chevy Bel Air with a LS7

We are finally very close to completion on the 55 Chevy with the LS7, not bad time, it took 1 year 4 months! It took a little longer because of how crazy we got with it.

It may look like a regular 55 Chevy with an LS7 corvette motor, but it has a ton of cool changes, like the electric brake system and the hidden brake pedal, we try to keep our firewalls very clean, and we didn’t like what everybody was offering so we made our own system that looks and works great!

Also we have made some changes to the Scarliner like the braking system that is off the new Porsche GT3, almost 14″ ceramic rotors! We also have reworked the rear bumper and the way the exhaust comes out of the bumper, we are also doing some upholstery changes, but other than that it is looking good! Check out pictures of our progress in the ‘projects‘ section of the site.  We have a couple new T-shirt designs, so make sure you check out our online apparel store so you can look as cool as your friend with his or her new BS shirt.

THE FORD STARLINER IS GOING TO PAINT

The Starliner is going to paint this week finally!

Now we are working on the fuel and cooling system for the motor, since we have moved the 5.4 Ford Gt motor from the back of the car (stock positioning in a Ford GT) to the front of the car we are trying to achieve the same cooling system. I think we will be more efficient because the radiator will be bigger than the stock radiator in the Ford GT, plus we will have more air to fin area and less travel, since the motor is in the back of the Ford GT and the radiator is in the front of the car, I think we loose irregular water pressure drops.

As for the fuel delivery we cant use the stock set up, as we planned to do, so we are using two after market fuel pumps a primary and a secondary. The primary is for when the car is at an idle and the secondary is to deliver more fuel when boost or throttle is added. We are basically trying not to change too much of Fords engineering on the fuel delivery, electronics, and cooling because of all of the time and testing they did on the this motor.  BS
