We strive on detail, and factory motor mounts sitting under a new 2011 5.0 Aluminator were an eyesore on our 1965 Ford Mustang Project. So… like always… we built our own! QMP Racing has done it again, they brought us another beast to wrap a car around. A 427 SOHC Cammer going into a 1963.5 R Code Ford Galaxie, putting out 750 horse power! Bodie talked to Brad Lagman, owner of QMP, on his radio show last Saturday. He unleashed the roar of his latest engine on the guys. Right now GM Performance is having a “Build Experience Program” for their LS7 and LS9 factory crate engines, If you purchase an LS7 and LS9, you will get to help build your engine with a specially trained engine builder at the GM Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan, and assist in it’s “Start to Finish Assembly” From installing the crankshaft in the cylinder block to topping off the engine with it’s intake system. And if you purchase the LS9 you will be installing the supercharger assembly! Upon Completion, Your personalized nameplate will be added to the enigne next to the GM Builder’s name marking the engine as a true one of a kind.
