What’s your burnout face?
Ahhh, it’s good to be back! SEMA was a blast and we had a bitchin’ time catching up with old friends and making a few new great ones throughout the week. The unveiling of Tim Allen’s ’68 Camaro went off without a hitch and even though I was a little nervous, it was great to finally show off what can be accomplished through seven months of hard work and an awesome collaboration between my shop, Tim Allen, and Classic Industries. Check out the before and after pictures below:
We also finished the ’56 Ford F100 just in the nick of time:
Now that we’re back in the City of Angels, with the weather getting a little chillier and Thanksgiving around the corner it can only mean one thing…it’s about time for the LA Auto Show! I’m stoked about showcasing Tim Allen’s ’68 Camaro at the MPG Motoring Invitational on November 20th. Afterwards, it’ll have a home in the West Hall Lobby for the full length of the show (November 22nd through December 1st), so be sure to stop by and check out Tim’s ride!
While most of you will be out hunting for candy this Halloween, we at BS Industries are keeping busy in the shop, getting our treats ready and tricking out our SEMA RIDES! We’ve been working around the clock to bring you the ultimate candy-coated cars. Check out the progress on our ’56 Ford F100 and Tim Allen’s ’68 Camaro. The devil wishes he had rides like these! We will be showcasing our creations in an OPEN HOUSE following SEMA, so sign up for our newsletter to receive your invite to the shop.
In the Garage is new and improved with a new addition to our show, the multi-talented Cherielynn Westrich!. Once a member of the ’90s rock band, The Rentals, Cherielynn got her start in the auto industry at North Hollywood Speedometer and now works at Associated Garage in Orange, CA. In 2005 she started building cars with Chip Foose for Overhaulin‘…the ONLY female ever to be asked to join the A-Team by Chip Foose! She’s also worked at Curtis Speed Polish with Mike Curtis (American Hot Rod, Overhaulin’), who’s been building high end show cars, hot rods, wheels and accessories for over 15 years. She joined Rock My RV at the end of Season 1 in the fabrication department with Bodie Stroud. We’re also streaming live audio and video of the show! Check it out on TikiLIVE every Wednesday morning from 10am-11am PST. You can also find the stream on Facebook so be sure to Like our page for all the updates. And last but not least – don’t forget to pick up our new fall gear in Bodie’s favorite Orange!
